Who am I

My name is Jeroen Slieker, and I'm a depth psychologist running a therapy practice in both Amsterdam and Alkmaar. My mission is to help you reconnect with the depth, power and richness that is within you.

I earned my psychology degree from the University of Amsterdam in 2000. Since then I have worked in various management and policy positions within healthcare. In addition to my therapy practice, I work for the crisis organization of the GGD Amsterdam.

Right now I am in the final stages of a specialist training program as a depth psychologist at the Academy for Depth Psychology, formerly known as the Jungian Institute. I have been a Buddhist practitioner for 25 years and live with my wife, daughter and canine companion in the beautiful town of Bergen (NH).

In my therapy practice I bring together the wisdom of 2,500 years of Buddhist teachings with the profound psychological insights of Jung and Rogers, among others.

It is my sincere aspiration that our therapy sessions will make you feel seen, understood and enriched. I hope our work together contributes to more fulfillment and an a sense of depth in your life.
